• Design of efficient, reliable, durable and economically feasible Photovoltaic systems. Such systems include stand-alone and hybrid electrification systems, grid-connected systems, street lighting systems, remote area PV-powered communication systems, and pumping systems.
• Carrying out the proper installation and maintenance of PV systems using the available regulations and safety instructions.
• Developing of local expertise in the field of renewable energy in general and in PV technology in particular through lectures, training courses, journals and seminars/conferences.
