Solar pumps are powered by PV where they offer a clean and simple alternative to fuel-burning engines and generators for domestic water, livestock and irrigation.
They are most effective during dry and sunny days and require no fuel deliveries, and very little maintenance.

Philadelphia Solar has installed the first and biggest Solar PV Water Pumping System in Al Azraq – Jordan for Irrigation Purposes. The system contains a Solar Pump with 14 Dynamic Heads and a daily Water Flow Rate of 580 m³/day.

The pumped water is directly connected to a center pivot irrigation system and has a water well as a source. For the PV System; Philadelphia’s Modules PS-P72S–175W were used with a total power of 14 KWp. These modules were installed using Fixed Mounting Structure that was internally designed.
